Emboss Resist High Tide

Emboss Resist is a fantastic technique. It’s super easy to do therefore suitable for beginners and super impressive so more experienced crafters will also appreciate it.

I’ve so enjoyed playing with the High Tide stamp set. My newsletter subscribers were gifted the Exclusive Newsletter Free Tutorial for this fab project, where it also illustrated how to easily use the Rule of Thirds.

Here’s another little project I made using this stamp set.

Okay so the sun isn’t in perfect proportion but who cares! It’s just a bit of fun. 🙂 One of my classmates didn’t like the colour (she hates orange tones but I love them) however you could easily do it in various shades of yellows.

Simply use the ‘light beam’ from the stamp set to stamp some Daffodil Delight (or other yellow) on to Whisper White Cardstock

Then overstamp it with your chosen colours. I alternated Tangerine Tango with Calypso Coral. I also made sure to stamp off some colour first and to offset it slightly so that the yellow showed through.

And of course I must mention one of my favourite stamp sets; Alphabet Labeler. This is fantastic and so much fun to use. It’s brilliant for making cards with affirmations or very personal sentiments. How would you use yours?
