Today’s project, Make an easy gift box-card, is something you can make with any cardstock or Designer Series Paper you have lying around.
I made it to enclose these lovely little ‘Sticky Page Holders’ however you could use it for gift vouchers, gift cards or even as a money gift wallet.
When I was on holiday in Tenerife recently, I noticed these lovely little bunny stickers and I thought they would make perfect little gifts for two of my lovely Craic and Crafting classmates, who both have birthdays on 20th March. Besides that, I just couldn’t resist them and knew that I would have perfect colour coordinated cardstock to make an easy gift box-card to enclose them in.
And of course, using my Stampin’ Up! Grid Paper made it easy to work out a template for this project. Therefore there was no guesswork involved. I simply placed the gift on the paper, worked out the measurements and created a mock up of the gift box-card before actually cutting my precious cardstock because we don’t want to make mistakes on that now, do we!
Oh, and most importantly, as an extra treat for you I’ve made a very quick free video tutorial for you. Check that out further down this post.
Sticky Note Dispenser Easel
And, talking about cardstock, this is the perfect time to stock up on your everyday crafting consumables (card, envelopes, adhesives etc) and earn some last minute Free Goodies before Sale-A-Bration ends 31st March. Because you’re going to need to order them at some point anyway, you might as well do it while the promotion is on and get your hands on those freebies. If you’ve not checked out the new items that were added to Sale-A-Bration (in additional to those in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue), then you really want to do that now. Just click HERE to see the full range of what’s now on offer as you simply don’t want to miss out!
Colour Inspiration
Aren’t these colours just delicious! Of course there is an extensive range of colours in the Stampin’ Up! colour families therefore you will never be lost for choice or coordination. And that in my book means clever purchasing without wasting money on products that don’t coordinate that are therefore wasted money. 🙂
Make an easy gift box-card
Okay so lets get crafting and to make this very quick and easy project, you will need the following …….
