Daisy Delight – GDP Colour Challenge

Hi Folks,

I’m in a bit of a jitter as this is the first time I’ve entered a project in any of the larger Challenges and I’m a bit in awe of the Global Design Team lol. But if you’re not in, you can’t win, eh? It’s all a bit of fun anyhow. To be honest I’m probably more interested to see if I can actually overcome my rather significant technological challenges i.e will I actually be able to figure out how to submit the entry. Yes indeed, I am truly challenged when it comes to matters of technology. Although, I’d also love to win, or at least get a mention, in the Global Design Project Colour Challenge. 😉

Now to matters creative! This is my entry to said challenge. What do you think of it? (I apologise for the shadow over the project. I will have to polish up on my photography skills).

I’d come across this technique on Pinterest and I just fell in love with it and I’d already started to play with it before I decided to try out the Colour Challenge. It involves colouring on a Window Sheet and applying some of the ever so sparkly Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to it. Oh this photo just does not do it justice. You’ve got to see it in real life. Better still, try it out for yourself. Here are a few pictorial instructions.

Daisy Delight

Stamp Stazon on to Window Sheet (please note I’ve already coloured the centre of this daisy before I took the photo). Also note that you need to double stamp to get a ‘full’ daisy as shown here.

Daisy Delight

Add a drop of Fine Tip Glue Pen and 3 or 4 drops of reinker to silicone mat and mix with a small paint brush

Paint this mix on to your stamped image (on the side that you stamped it)

Smother in Dazzling Diamonds Glitter whilst it’s still very wet. Shake off excess Glitter and carefully set aside to dry. When dry, fussy cut out the daisy image. Adhere, Glitter side down, using Fine Tip Glue Pen, to your project.

I adore Daisy Delight. You will be able to purchase this from June 1st in the new Catalogue. The stamp set and punch can be purchased as a Bundle and therefore you will get a significant saving (allowing you to make other lovely purchases lol). Would you believe it’s only £27.75 for the Bundle! Fantastic!

Seriously though, if you’ve not got a catalogue yet, and you would like to place an order with me, then just let me know and I will get one off to you straight away. In the meantime you will be able to view the catalogue, from June 1st, on my Online Shop.

Here are a few more pics that you might like. Do let me know what you think of them. I love to hear from you.

I love the projects you post. I suspect that this one is even more gorgeous in person (as you said). Can’t wait to try it.
