I was over the moon when my beautiful Springtime Foils arrived. Not just because they were free in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue (although that’s obviously a huge bonus) but because they are simply stunning!! You really will have to try this for yourself.
Here are two of the cards we made in class this week. The foils make them ever so luxurious. Any recipient of these would be super impressed with your skills and your generosity, although to be honest they were so easy to make.
The foils come with a white background and are embossing with a mix of silver, gold and copper. I cannot describe to you how stunning these foil sheets are. You’ve got to see them for yourself. Nip over to the Sale-A-Bration catalogue icon to check them out. And of course there are lots and lots more lovely freebies to drool over too! 😉
These foils are so beautiful that if you wanted to make a project without colouring then you can indeed do so.
And they are of great quality. Heavy enough to make little gift boxes with too.
I decided to experiment with a little colour. For my foil striped card, I simply used the Tempting Turquoise Stampin’ Write Marker to colour in the stripes and leaves. Leaving the ink to dry for a few minutes before dabbing the excess off carefully with a piece of kitchen paper. And don’t the Celebrate You Thinlits just work so beautifully with this card! Oh they’re free also by the way.
And for the flowered version I simply coloured in the flowers with the amazing Stampin’ Blends. Did you notice that I’d decorated the envelope too? I love that the envelopes match the cardstock so perfectly in colour.
I hope you’ve enjoyed these projects. Do feel free to leave me a comment or query as I love to hear from you.
Thanks for stopping by today. Until next time xx
