Don’t you just love it when you find a simple design that is just perfect! Today’s project using the Sweet & Sassy die cut heart is one of those. It’s simply beautiful and perfect for so many occasions.
This little card is made using thick Very Vanilla Cardstock. I’m so delighted that Stampin’ Up! brought out the thicker version of this cardstock, in the current Annual Catalogue.
The colour is so soft and luxurious. (if you know what I mean). It’s perfect for wedding and engagement cards.
In this project I’ve used it as a beautiful birthday card. You could easily change the whole feel of the card by using a different colour of cardstock and sentiments.
Make it funky for a teen card with some bright colours from the Brights colour family or the current In Colors family. Or more muted for a baby card with the beautiful Subtles colour family.
Sweet & Sassy Die Cut Heart
As you can see I’ve used the Petal Burst Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to add texture to the background. Although it would be lovely with a plain background too. Play about with the design to see how many variations you can make with it.
And have you spotted the super gorgeous Bundle of Love Designer Series Paper. Isn’t it just lovely. If you’ve not checked this DSP out, you’ve really got to. It is truly beautiful. It makes the most gorgeous baby cards, gift boxes and gift bags. Even little mini photo albums or brag books.
Some Vellum cardstock keeps the larger, heat embossed sentiment soft, so as not to overpower the card. Did you know this stamp set is FREE in Sale-A-Bration currently? Check out how to qualify for your fab Sale-A-Bration freebies now. They’re only available until the end of March.
